In Remembrance of VOICES Alum Karen Dickinson

Karen Dickinson’s belief in possibilities has profoundly impacted my life and the lives of many others. Her positive belief in making the impossible happen changed and enriched our world. Her kindness and thoughtfulness will be remembered by many of us who worked with her during her decades of dedicated service to the university.
In Our Own Words: Voices on VOICES
You speak. U listens.
VOICES of the Staff is a volunteer-based program offering University of Michigan staff members an opportunity to share ideas and define the campus community issues that matter most to you. The members of the VOICES network groups are chosen from the overall pool of applicants to represent a microcosm of the U-M staff community (demographics including work areas, gender, ethnicity and union representation).
This is your opportunity to be heard:
- Provide creative and effective staff input
- Offer suggestions on staff climate and satisfaction issues
- Comment on staff development and career investment
Voices of the Staff 2010-11 Annual Report
Since its inception in 2005, VOICES has proven itself to be a vital forum for exploring issues of significance to the staff community and providing critical staff input to leadership on important topics. The results achieved by the staff volunteers who have contributed their passion and energy to exploring these topics as members of VOICES’ network teams are staggering for their scope. In the past year alone, VOICES has enjoyed phenomenal successes and undreamed of recognition as a significant voice of the University of Michigan staff community.
